The Outdoor Festival featuring headlining band Paper Tongues and the HIPPO Water Slide

Beyond the 5K race, there is also music and other festivities that all come together to make the Jax Mud Fest a true extravaganza. No matter if you are a participant or a spectator; you can be assured of having fun at this festival. Entry into the festival is free. Come out and enjoy a day full of fun for the whole family.

Food and Drink Options Galore- No matter what you’re craving, we’ve got you covered! Firehouse Subs, Anthony’s Gourmet Catering, Monroe’s BBQ, The Main Squeeze Lemonade Stand, Kilwin’s and the Hawaiian Oasis. We’ll also have beer and other non-alcoholic drink options.

On the Main Stage-Charlotte-based rock/hip hop band Paper Tongues will headline a free concert during the Jax Mud Fest. Additional local acts include Kort McCumber and Granpa’s Cough Medicine. Stay tuned for an official concert schedule!

Fun for the Kids and Adults-We’ve got everything from bounce houses, balloon artists, face painting and THE HIPPO-The World’s Largest Outdoor Water Slide. Surprise, race participants will receive a FREE ride down the Hippo as part of their registration package!
